It's just about that time of year!

After a winter that didn't seem to want to end Spring is just around the corner. Time to start planning for a low stress beginning to the boating season. Remember to give plenty of notice if you have your boat stored (2 weeks notice is perfect). If you rent a dock slip make sure you have yours reserved ASAP, the prime spaces sell out quick! Let's hope for a summer as great as last years!

Demo Days

"Demo Days" are a great chance to try out the newest boats in a very relaxing environment. There are usually several different models of boats to try. You can move from one to the next to find the perfect match for you and your family. At our upcoming demo day on Saturday August 21st we will be at the old Boat House Marina property. We will have 3 different Nautique models at the docks along with Cyndi and the Hobie Kayaks. Stop out and visit us from 8:00 until 3:00 for some fun!

Dock Rental Status on Lake James

After months of work we are excited to be able to offer dock slip rental on Lake James! The slips are located at the old Boat House Marina property on Lake James. They are $800 for the season. What could be better than being right across the street from Acapulco Grill, Jimmy's and Club Paradise this summer!

Getting ready for summer

One of the most common issues we see happen every spring is battery problems. Unlike your vehicle battery that gets used everyday, boat batteries spend a lot of time unused. The key is to start using your boat as soon as it is delivered in the spring. Letting the engine charge it will make it last longer and prevent it from going dead. It is very common for a boat to be delivered fully charged, but not used for a week and be completely dead. Battery tenders really help maintain your battery for the long term.
